The Fossil Laboratory project includes the adaptive reuse of a 6,800 SF mid-century warehouse building with bowstring truss roof framing and multi-wythe brick bearing walls. The renovation will accommodate forklift traffic and laboratory instrumentation. The roof framing is been upgraded to support laboratory loads and current snow load requirements. A steel canopy marks the entry. The facility will offer tours for neighborhood student.
